Dmitrii Karavaev

Dmitrii Karavaev joined AEG International as Power Systems Engineer in August 2024. In this role, Dmitrii focuses on the development, testing, and sales support of AEG’s sustainable energy solutions including DC microgrids, DC high-bay lighting, low-voltage PoE lighting, solar energy and battery storage systems and more. Prior to joining AEG, he served as Power Engineer at Pike Engineering in Fort Mill, SC. Dmitrii also worked as a Transmission Designer for several years in his native Ukraine before ending up in the United States. His extensive knowledge of electrical power makes him an asset to the AEG team.

Dmitrii completed his master’s degree in power plant engineering at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He gained a global mindset during extensive travel in Europe, Russia, and Canada and made many friends along the way. Dmitrii currently lives in the Charlotte metro area with his wife and young son.
